Air Filter Systems offer ultrasonically
welded synthetic Pocket filter media in rolls or “ready-to-assemble”
Pockets suitable for assembling HVAC Bag Filters. AFS’ Pocket media
is made up of high quality non-woven synthetic (meltblown
polypropylene) of high tensile strength, higher basis weight and
multi layered to offer high dust holding property. Our media is
available from F5 - F9 (45% to 95%+ ASHRAE efficiencies) grades
The pockets are made by ultrasonic welding process with internal
spacers of non woven polypropylene. The pocket edges are sealed
ultrasonically to form a 100% leak free design unlike the Sewn
Pockets which leaves many pin holes open. AFS’ M-Soniq pockets
offers very low pressure drop due to its aerodynamic design.
